FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: skin incision device includes the casing, lancet mechanism operatively connected to the casing, pressing tip and releasing mechanism. Pressing tip is sliding joint with the casing and shaped as to provide alignment desired area and convexity of desired area. Releasing mechanism detects convexity of desired area of specified height and fixes pressing tip relative to the casing. Fixation of pressuring tip prevents potential reposition of convexity of desired area relative to the casing. Method of skin incision ensures skin incision device implying that pressuring tip of skin incision device contacts the desired area.
EFFECT: reposition of convexity of desired area relative to the casing is regulated by releasing mechanism due to fixing of pressuring tip; penetration depth is constant for each application of the device.
