FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: arterial blood pressure (ABP) and cardiac rate (CR) are defined for patient lying horizontally and with head end of turning table risen at 60 degrees angle. Additionally diastolic speed of cerebral blood flow in medium cerebral artery is measured by transtemporal access using 2 MHz pen-type pulse sensor at the depth of 52-57 mm. At cerebral blood flow reduction more than by 40% and standard ABP and CR values, syncopal state development due to cerebrovascular spasm is diagnosed, and at cerebral blood flow reduction more than by 40% and ABP and CR fallen below cerebral blood flow autoregulation threshold, syncopal state development due to vegetative vascular tonus regulation disorder is diagnosed.
EFFECT: expanded range of media for syncopal state diagnostics for children and adolescents.
