EVALUATION METHOD FOR DEGREE OF HYPOXIC PERINATAL CNS INJURY IN FULL-TERM NEWBORN INFANTS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01N33/52

Abstract RU 2345363 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to pediatrics, and refers to evaluation method for degree of hypoxic CNS injury in full-term newborn infants in early neonatal period. The method consists in average DNA quantity determination in lymphocyte nuclei by ploidometry technique on 1st and 3rd day after birth. Based on values obtained, slight, medium, or severe degree is distinguished, or absence of hypoxic CNS injury.

EFFECT: highly accurate degree evaluation of hypoxic CNS injury in full-term newborn infants in early neonatal period.
