SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to pediatrics, and refers to evaluation method for degree of hypoxic CNS injury in full-term newborn infants in early neonatal period. The method consists in average DNA quantity determination in lymphocyte nuclei by ploidometry technique on 1st, 3rd, 5 to 7, and 28 to 30 day after birth. Based on values obtained, slight, medium, or severe degree is distinguished, or absence of hypoxic CNS injury.

EFFECT: highly accurate degree evaluation of hypoxic CNS injury in full-term newborn infants in early neonatal period.
