FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neonatology, obstetrics and gynaecology, and can be used to predict cerebral ischemia in newborns in the early neonatal period, born to mothers with preeclampsia. Upon admission to the hospital before the start of therapy in pregnant women with preeclampsia, including with underlying chronic arterial hypertension, at 27–40 weeks of gestation in peripheral venous blood is determined the relative content of sTLR9+ cells in population of CD20+ lymphocytes. If its value is equal to or less than 24.1 %, developing cerebral ischemia in newborns is predicted.
EFFECT: wider range of prognostic agents and higher accuracy of prediction of cerebral ischemia in newborns by determining the relative content of sTLR9+ cells in the population of CD20+ lymphocytes in the blood of pregnant women with preeclampsia, including with underlying chronic arterial hypertension.
