FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to automobile cooling circuit, which is characterised by the following criteria: cooling medium, in particular, water or water mixture; pump for supply of cooling medium with outlet for cooling medium; exhaust brake that comprises middle ring, working fluid of which is cooling medium; switching valve installed upstream exhaust brake, and bypass section to bypass exhaust brake, so that exhaust brake starts and stops relative to cooling circuit; at that pump for supply of cooling medium along with the flow direction is installed upstream exhaust brake so that in operating exhaust brake pump pumps cooling medium in exhaust brake, and if exhaust brake is switched off, pump pumps cooling medium along bypass section past exhaust brake. Automobile cooling circuit, according to invention, differ by the following criterion: total hydrodynamic resistance from discharge of pump for supply of cooling medium to middle ring of exhaust brake, when exhaust brake is operating, is less than total hydrodynamic resistance of cooling circuit, which is overcome by pump for supply of cooling medium in non-braking mode.
EFFECT: saving of pump capacity for supply of cooling medium.
