FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises three burnishers arranged in the form of tempered reference gear wheels installed at the angle of 120° one to the other. One reference gear wheel has individual rotation drive and is master for forced rotation of billet and other reference wheels during rolling. The other reference wheel has device for static pressing of processed gear wheel to billet. Impulse load is applied to one reference wheel from hydraulic generator of pulses. External working surface of one reference wheel teeth is made from steel circular wire, sections of which are installed along tooth and fixed in the ends of reference wheel teeth. External surface of the other reference wheel teeth is made from steel circular wire, which is bent and profiled according to shape of teeth and is assembled in packet fixed on hub so that wire bars are located across tooth direction.
EFFECT: improved capacity, lower parameter of surface roughness in teeth profiles, lower level of sound pressure in processing and improved quality.
