FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of vehicle building immediately dealing with design of additional equipment used for locking and sealing doors and hatch covers of railway, waterborne and road vehicles as well as stationary objects. The locking-and-sealing device consists of a body and a cord to be tied round the brackets of the movable covers being conjugated. One of the cord ends is fixedly attached to the inside of the blind cavity arranged in the device body. In the body there is also a through-hole arranged wherein the cord loose (rounded) end is inserted for the device locking. The device is additionally equipped with a roller-type cord dynamic locking mechanism and an element providing for the rollers backward motion restriction. The latter is composed of box-shaped restrictors, open from the elongated side inserted in the grooves above-mentioned with the open ends turned towards the cord outlet hole so that to enable interaction with the carrier represented by a bowl containing a spring. The bowl lateral surface is divided in four with the spring-loaded edges bent in the outside direction to enable interaction with the crosswise slots arranged in the restrictor walls.

EFFECT: improved safety of the device due to the rollers forced release from the cord having been rendered virtually impossible.
