SUBSTANCE: invention concerns field of control and measuring technics and can be used in mechanical engineering for identification (recognition) of heated and unheated metal and nonmetallic products. The device includes the inductive sensing device executed in the form of an inductance coil, placed in a ring groove of an open end face of the ferrite core with the central hole, mounted coaxially with this hole capacitive a sensing device with the central hole and the infrared photodetector, devices forming a sensing device. At travel of the heated metal controllable product concerning a device sensing device there is consistently its interaction with electrical and electromagnetic fields accordingly capacitive both inductive sensing devices and fogging of an infrared photodetector by it. Thus on the first exit of the device there is a pulsing signal with level logic "1", bearing the information on identification heated metal product. On the second and third exits of the device thus there are voltages with "0" levels logic. In case of travel of the unheated metal product the signal with level logic "1", bearing the information on its identification, appears only on the second exit of the device. Thus on the first and third exits of the device there are voltages with levels logic "0". At travel of the unheated nonmetallic product the signal with level logic "1" appears only on the third exit of the device. On the first and second exits of the device thus there are voltages with levels logic "0".

EFFECT: identification of controllable products without contact to them.
