FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes layerwise scrap handling and additive of additional material after heating of each layer. On the first layer there are add slag-forming materials, manganous and magnesia materials in ratio 1:(0.2-0.4):(0.1-0.3) correspondingly at total amount 140-180 kg/t of scrap. On the second and the following layers - slag-forming materials and manganous materials in ratio 1:(0.5-0,8), correspondingly, at total amount 180-220 kg/t of scrap. On the last layer there are add manganous and magnesia materials in ratio 1:(1.2-1.5), correspondingly, at total amount 80-120 kg/t of scrap.
EFFECT: effectiveness increase of metal oxidising refining at scrap preheating and effective blowing off of metal with increased scrap part in metal stock.
