FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates metallurgy field. Particularly it relates to melting of electrotechnical siliceous steel grades and its following deoxidisation and alloying. In the method it is implemented deoxidiser feeding and of refining material, melt discharge into ladle with slag cutoff and out furnace metal treatment in the ladle. Deoxidiser feeding is implemented during the process of melt discharge into ladle, and refining material - after discharge finish on metal surface, then it is defined hydrogen content in metal and it is implemented out furnace treatment by means of vacuumising during the time, defined from the form τ=1186.3+126.9×H init - 456.14×H fin., where: τ - vacuum processing time, min, H init. - hydrogen content in metal before degassing, %, H fin. -required hydrogen content in steel, %,1186.3; 126.9; 456.14 - empirically determined coefficient, received by experience from the condition of guaranteeing required reduction of hydrogen content in steel.
EFFECT: receiving of ability to calculate vacuum metal working time and provides receiving of required hydrogen content in a liquid steel, to reduce metal gasing and content of nonmetallic and also to receive required macroscopic structure of uninterruptedly-casted workpiece.
