FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in smelting melt in converter, in tapping melt with slag cut off, in introducing deoxidisers and refining material into ladle during process of tapping. Lime is used as refining material. Lime is added after metal tapping into ladle on surface of metal. Before lime addition consumption of lime is determined on contents of iron oxides in slag before tapping, on sulphur and manganese contents in metal assays at turndown, and on consumption of ferrosilicon before tapping. Further metal is transferred to out-furnace treatment whereat degassing of metal is carried out first, then metal is blast with argon at ladle-furnace aggregate. Prior to blast contents of sulphur is determined upon melt coming to ladle-furnace aggregate; also there is determined duration of melt blast with argon on sulphur contents in melt upon coming to ladle-furnace aggregate and on sulphur contents in melt after blast with argon.
EFFECT: implementation of invention facilitates obtaining required contents of sulphur in ready steel, reducing gas saturation of metal, reducing contents of non-metallic inclusions, and production of required macro-structure of continuous cast article.
