FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy. Particularly it relates to performing of blanks from high-tin bronze, provided for manufacturing of products by plastic working method. Method includes vacuum induction melting of charge, containing copper and calculated amount of tin with receiving of ingot, further its vacuum arc remelting in mold, outfitted by system for remelt electromagnetic hashing. Manufacturing of blank is implemented from the peripheral part of ingot of vacuum arc remelting, thickness of which is defined from ratio Δ/ri<0.75, where: Δ - thickness of peripheral part of ingot of vacuum arc remelting, count out from ingot generatrix, mm, ri - ingot radius, mm, with calculated content of tin is chosen from ratio: Cc/Cd=1.01, where: Cc - calculated content of tin in ingot from vacuum induction remelting, wt %, Cd - superior limit of defined content of tin in ingot of vacuum arc remelting, wt %.
EFFECT: receiving of qualitative blanks from high-tin bronze, useful for bars and pipes pressing in the capacity of semi-finished products of superconductor on the basis of Nb3Sn and increasing of yield.
