FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices of chemical industry, namely to a pseudoisothermal chemical reactor for heterogeneous chemical reactions. The reactor contains a cylindrical body closed with the bottoms from the opposite ends. In a reaction zone there is one catalyst layer and, at least, one immersed cylindrical heat-exchange unit comprising a number of radial heat exchangers. At least, one heat exchanger comprises a coil pipe made of flattened-parallelepiped pipe.
EFFECT: heat exchangers of such heat-exchange unit are capable to maintain the great pressure difference between fluid heat-carrier and the reaction zone.
