FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method and device for manufacture of cellular geoweb from double-sided textured and perforated tapes of high density polyethylene. Method for manufacture of cellular geoweb in compliance with the present invention is characterised by the fact that plastic tapes installed in fixed casing are welded by means of complex of movable welding sets. Device for manufacture of cellular geoweb in compliance with the present invention consists of fixed casing with cuts in side walls, supporting girder fixed above casing on supports and passing along casing axis. Welding sets are fixed to supporting girder by means of trolleys. Fixed body has two oppositely installed rows of platforms.
EFFECT: result of invention is possibility to produce cellular geoweb of several dozens of plastic tapes joined by means of series of deep ultrasonic welding sessions arranged perpendicularly to longitudinal axes of tapes.
