FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining volume geogrids of unlimited length and width used for soil reinforcement in the construction of large-scale facilities (roads and railways), large areas (airfields, stadiums, parking lots for cars), as well as objects of landscape construction. Method for manufacturing an unlimited length cellular geogrid of perforated tapes made of polyethylene of various density involves connecting a package of tapes with a series of welds made by ultrasonic welding, seams are made by a set of mobile welding machines. Package of tapes is obtained from a polyethylene film by perforating it and mechanically cutting it, with the subsequent transfer of tapes from the horizontal position to a vertical stack of separated tapes, with the possibility of a single feed to the position of the next welding.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying the process of manufacturing a geogrid of unlimited length while simultaneously increasing its strength characteristics.
