FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes blending of fluorine-carbon bearing wastes of electrolytic manufacturing of aluminium, admixtures and water. In the capacity of admixtures there are used crushed and/or screened fluorine-carbon wastes of aluminium manufacturing, lime and water, which are blended at following components content, wt %: fluorine-carbon wastes 50-90; lime - 4-20; water - 6-30. Lime-bearing wastes are used with size 0.01-0.2 mm with the content of CaOact. 60-96%. For receiving of lump synthetic flux lump fluorine-carbon wastes are crushed and screened with receiving of fractions 5-100 mm, lime is mixed with water with receiving of limy suspension, fluorine-carbon wastes are mixed with the received limy suspension during 0.5-1 min.
EFFECT: lump and briquette flux with high refine and slag-forming ability.
