FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in boiler plants operating on powdered coal fuel as it is transported into a burner along dust lines of a system for supply of high-concentration dust (HCD) under pressure. A HCD burner comprises a vessel with a supply dust line of HCD, a dust-discharging nozzle installed in it coaxially, comprising a cone - splitter and a fairing forming a cavity opened towards a furnace, a nozzle for supply of starting fuel, besides, the starting fuel nozzle is connected into the cavity of the dust discharging nozzle via a pipe, the open end of which is connected to this cavity, the HCD dust line is connected to the dust-discharging nozzle at the angle a to its axis, making from 20° to 90° and connected with it by an intermediate box, besides, the value of the aperture angle of the cone-splitter is within the range of 20°-150°.
EFFECT: higher stability of burning and efficiency of combustion of a fuel with variable reactivity at low level of hazardous substance formation in furnace gases.
