FIELD: physics, measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radioactive radiation detectors, particularly, to the system of suspension and protection of portal monitoring radioactive radiation detectors. Proposed detector (10) comprises housing (12), elongated rectangular crystal with four angular bends, running in lengthwise direction, and photo-electronic multiplier (44), both being suspended inside aforesaid housing along with optical wave guide (46) arranged axially between appropriate face surfaces of the said photo-electronic multiplier and crystal. Note that is also comprises multiple elongated guides (68) running along aforesaid rectangular crystal angular bends and forming an air gap between the crystal and housing.
EFFECT: production of higher-strength radioactive radiation detector.
