FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-power engineering. Into the composition of the thermoelectric plant is introduced an additional condensing steam turbine with an electric generator, into which is supplied vapour from an industrially selected steam turbine of the thermoelectric plant. The electric generator of the additional condensing steam turbine is connected with the balance-of-plant switchgear of the thermoelectric plant and with the asynchronous electric generator of the feeding pump, bringing into play electric supply of the asynchronous of the electric generator from the from the electric generator of the condensing steam turbine. With the reduction of the rate of the feed water the thermoelectric plant is switched off from the balance-of-plant switchgear and, by reducing the rate of the vapour on the additional condensing steam engine, reduce the number of rotations of the turbine and its electric generator, changing the frequency of the electric current produced and reducing the frequency of asynchronous electric generator of the feed pump, its delivery and pressure.

EFFECT: increase in the thermal efficiency of the thermoelectric plants.
