SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. The mode of operation of combined heat and power plant with open heating system containing: boiler units, steam turbines with industrial steam extraction, condensers and electric generators, raw water heaters, chemical water purification for softening of make-up network water, make-up water vacuum deaerators, feed pumps, heating network water heating system, according to which the raw water first is heated by steam in the condenser of the auxiliary condensation steam turbine, where steam is supplied from industrial extractions of steam turbines, the useful yield of the auxiliary condensation steam turbine is used for driving of one of feed pumps; at partial electric and thermal loads of combined heat and power plant the steam supply to the additional condensation steam turbine is decreased, regulating its power and rpm, and also pressure head and flow rate of feedwater of the driven feed pump according to the flow rate of feedwater of the combined heat and power plant.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase thermal profitability of combined heat and power plant and to increase power generation from thermal consumption.
