FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: there proposed is measuring method of phase of radar signal reflected from the measuring object, which is based on the measuring object radiation with radio waves and on radar signal reception. Technical effect is achieved due to the fact that on external surface of the measuring object housing there installed is a spike antenna loaded on a diode; mounted antenna and measuring object is irradiated with carrier frequency radio waves; simultaneously there received is signal reflected from the measuring object on carrier frequency and signal reradiated with antenna on frequency of one carrier frequency harmonic, at the receiving point of signal harmonic, which is reradiated with antenna installed on the object housing, is converted into carrier frequency signal; converted signal and signal reflected from the measuring object is converted into intermediate frequency signals, and both signals are supplied to the appropriate inputs of phase detector at the output of which there recorded is measured value of radar signal phase.

EFFECT: increasing measuring accuracy.
