FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar. A device for measuring scattering matrix elements of a target comprises: a high-frequency (HF) monochromatic electrical oscillation generator (1), a polariser (2), a waveguide polarisation divider (3) of the secondary radiation field of the target, a receiving-transmitting antenna (4) of HF fields, a reference signal source (5), a carrier frequency operating harmonic signal filter (6), an operating harmonic signal frequency divider (7), three mixers (8.1, 8.2, 8.3), three intermediate-frequency filters (9.1, 9.2, 9.3), three intermediate frequency signal amplifiers (10.1, 10.2, 10.3), two carrier frequency filters (11.1, 11.2), two phase recorders (12.1, 12.2), two amplitude recorders (13.1, 13.2), a heterodyne (14), a radar target (15), supports (16) for target soft suspension system, suspension cable (17) of the target suspension system, straps (18) for fastening the target, guy lines (19) for rotating the target, a target turning device, a diode (21) and a reference signal source (5).
EFFECT: reduced error when measuring the phase of return secondary radiation of a target.
