FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the preparation of finely dispersed powder of inorganic substances by means of electric explosion of workpieces. The conducting workpieces made from metals and alloys have the electrical resistivity in liquid and solid states not less than 1. The said workpieces are preheated, then exploded in gas medium under the action of current rush fed to workpieces from the energy supply. The heating is performed by electric current supply to workpieces from the additive energy source during time Δt selected from the constraint: , where Δt is the time of current passage from additive energy source s through the workpiece; µ0 - magnetic constant, H/m; r - radius of conducting workpiece, m; ρn - resistivity of conducting workpiece material in normal conditions, Ohm/m; γl - density of liquid metal, kg/m3; α - surface tension coefficient, kg/cm2.
EFFECT: invention provides the enhancing of productivity due to increasing of workpieces dimensions.
