FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of granules of foam metals. Method involves mixing metal powder with porophore, pressing produced mixture to produce compact sample in form of a rod or bar, dispersing obtained sample by passing a short pulse electric current with specified amplitude and duration. Foaming agent is used, having decomposition temperature less than melting temperature of metal.
EFFECT: obtaining granules of any metal materials with preset porosity.
