FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the wood-processing industry, in particular to production of sawn timber from timber having ring lesions of timber. The timber is fixed for healthy peripheral zone and divided into sectors and in the longitudinal direction. In each sector the ring lesion is removed by a curvilinear generatrix of the cutting tool having the shape of a cylinder, displacing the dividing plane along the bisector of the sector angle to obtain the quality peripheral zone, the zone of the annular lesion and the quality core zone. The healthy peripheral zone is divided into timber and the central part of the trapezoidal cross-section with the detachment of the slabwood part. The central parts of the trapezoidal cross-section of the healthy peripheral zone are turned relative to each other through 180°, matched with the side surfaces and bonded together to a shield. The core parts are bonded with each other into workpieces which are fastened as a panel.
EFFECT: increased volume and quality output of sawn timber.
