FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the preparation of active carbons. The claimed preparation method of carbon adsorbent with low ash-content includes: 1) treatment of carbon raw material (active carbons obtained from fruiters kernel or from walnut and coconut shell) with acid solutions - at first with chlorhydric acid (concentration 8-10 wt %), then with fluorhydric acid (concentration 10-15 wt %); 2) washing 3-5 times with distilled water with ratio raw material : water = 1:10-12.
EFFECT: claimed method provides the increasing of acetone adsorption and electric capacity of the demineralised adsorbent based on plant raw materials.
