FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to plant cultivation. The method consists in measuring optic characteristics of photo-synthesising tissues before and after chemical treatment. Also there is determined rate of intensiveness change and degree of coherence of quasi-monochromatic probing optical beam dispersed by tissues with coefficients of regression equations, which approximate experimental curves. Further reaction of a plant to chemical effect is estimated on change of value and sign of these coefficients.
EFFECT: method facilitates upgraded sensitivity and reduced duration of quantitative evaluation of plant reaction to toxic substances.
