FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, biology and physiology of plants. Method consists in measuring optical characteristics. During preset time of 3 seconds and more dynamics of flicker speckles of coherent laser radiation reflected or transmitted through object is measured. By degree and rate of fluctuation of intensity of specified section of speckle pattern functional state of tissue is determined – the more they are, the higher is level of metabolic activity of investigated object.
EFFECT: method allows reducing labor intensity of analysis and assessing functional state, metabolic activity and viability of plants.
