FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring of optical indexes of photosynthesizing plant and fruit tissues before and after light exposure. Notably, that exposure and measuring are carried out at the same time and light diffusion dynamic of small area - less than 0.2 cm2 of photosynthesizing plant tissue during flash exposure with the intense quasi-monochromatic optical radiation of blue and red spectra is used as an optical index. Photoinhibitionresistance of plant is determined according the value of UVR=dAcn·Tcn, where dAcn=(Imax-Imin)/Imin - relative amplitude of light diffusion intensity drop on the initial stage of flash exposure, Tcn - drop duration. Photodegradation resistance is estimated according to the value of UVD =Tn - time duration from the beginning of flash exposure till of light diffusion intensity boost.
EFFECT: decrease of labour intensity and efficiency increase of photoinhibition and photodegradation plant resistance estimation.
