FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: stated invention is related to processes of liquid radioactive waste (LRW) treatment by cementing method. Method for conditioning of liquid radioactive waste consists in impregnation of porous material with liquid radioactive waste, porous material used is formed porous concrete, liquid radioactive waste used is liquid radioactive waste including those that contain mineral, synthetic oils, organic liquids, surfactants, detergents, scintillators, and also borate salts. LRW in amount of 15-50% from weight of final compound is supplied in container with formed porous concrete, and impregnation is carried out in single stage.

EFFECT: use of stated method makes it possible to condition liquid radioactive waste including those that contain mineral, synthetic oils, organic liquids, surfactants, detergents, scintillators, and also borate salts, to reduce time of radiation-hazard operations implementation, to increase filling of final compound by LWR up to 15-50 wt %.
