FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: rotary motion is imparted to stock, and feed motion is imparted to tool along processed stock. Tool comprises fixed base, movable body, shaft installed in body in bearings by helical deforming spring and elastic element installed between body and base. Rotation is imparted to shaft with deforming element relative to its axis from individual drive. Shaft axis is installed at crossing angle relative to longitudinal axis of stock. At that helical deforming spring is arranged with turns of different diametre and is installed on shaft with the help of damper bush with provision of location of spring turns external working surfaces tops in longitudinal section on curve in the form of ellipse part. Indents and protrusions are arranged on external working surfaces of deforming spring turns.
EFFECT: technological resources are expanded, treated surface roughness parametre is increased, its hardness improves, efficiency grows and prime cost reduces.
