FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of adsorption engineering and can be used in the production of active carbons for gaseous media purification from harmful impurities. The claimed method of active carbons production includes modification of the cellolignin or lignin with orthophosphoric acid in amount of 0.8-2 wt %, briquetting, two-stage carbonisation at the temperature 400-450°C and 750-800°C with heating rate 10-15°C/min on the first stage and 1-5°min on the second stage, activation at the temperature 850-900°C with the mixture of the water vapour and carbon dioxide. The claimed method allows obtaining of active carbons with high adsorption performance in relation to organic substances with low molecular mass and poor sorption capacity e.g. ethyl chloride, acetone, carbon disulfide.
EFFECT: obtaining of active carbon with high adsorption performance in relation to the organic substances with low molecular mass and poor sorption capacity eg ethyl chloride, acetone, carbon disulfide.
