FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: functional tests are done with physical load. Parametres of initial physical load, rate of its increase and maximum value of physical load are determined from data of continuously monitored load power and heart rate. Aerobic reserve index of the person is calculated using a special formula from the measured maximum power, time of achieving it, time of work done with maximum power and time for attaining maximum heart rate.
EFFECT: correct interactive evaluation of change in aerobic reserve during training and competitions.
