SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods allowing determination of the amount of cargoes aboard the ship. Proposed method consists in that visual data on the ship draft marks is taken with the help of camera, the image is displayed on monitor and, further on, is stored on appropriate data carrier that allow an easy access to the data at any time. Note here that the ship draft mark parametre is defined from highlighted fragment. At least, eight such fragments should be highlighted and parametres for each of the six draft marks should be defined.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of ship draft determination.
