FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to fluxes for steel-smelting manufacturing. Flux contains oxides of calcium, magnesium, silicon and iron at following content of components, wt %: magnesium oxide - basis, calcium oxide - 15-30, silicon dioxide - 2-7, oxides of iron - 4-10. Flux is implemented in the form of grains and consists of bi- ceramic material - envelope and core, herewith correlation of core mass to envelope mass is in the range from 0.8 up to 2.5, herewith correlations of magnesium oxide and calcium oxide in the envelope to its content in core are: (80-90):(38-42) and (7-15):(45-55) agreeably.
EFFECT: usage of invention provides creation of flux with high reactivity of it to dissolution in melted slag of steelmaking waste.
