FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in loading charge into furnace, in its heating, smelting, in introduction of magnesian-limestone flux in portions during melting, in refining during furnace operation, and in oxygen blowing. As magnesian-limestone flux there are used granules of bio-ceramic composition. Granules of bio-ceramic composition are introduced at amount facilitating ratio between contents of magnesium oxide in slag and furnace lining (% MgO)slag / (% MgO)lining = 0.05-0.16. Additionally there is introduced iron ore till contents of iron oxides in slag in terms of FeO reaches not less, than 12 wt %.
EFFECT: increased resistance of furnace lining and increased degree of phosphorus removal due to correction of slag mode.
