FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering. It is defined respecting-linear wear of tool by calculating method at different cutting speeds. Measurement wear of tool is implemented in reference points, primarily after 100 metres of cutting path, then after 400 metres, and it is graphed correlation of respecting-linear wear of tool from cutting speed. It is determined thermal electromotive force, appeared in dynamic thermocouple "tool-blank", corresponding the minimum wear, and it is determined cutting speed, corresponding thermal electromotive force without lubrication-cooling technological mediums, and at these rates it is determined respecting-linear wear of tool. Wear-resistant efficiency of lubrication-cooling technological mediums is determined by formula.
EFFECT: decreasing of test labour coefficient.
