FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to acoustoelectronic devices on surface acoustic waves (SAW) and may be used as receiver of hydroacoustic signals that propagate in liquid medium (hydrophone) preferably to create wireless remote hydroacoustic systems of buoy type with transfer of information along radio channel with frequency modulation of radio signal carrier, and also as static pressure sensor on SAW. Hydrophone on surface acoustic waves comprises single-crystal piezoelectric plate, on surface of which there are input and output interdigital transducers (IDT) to realise delay line on SAW (resonator on SAW); amplifier connected between two IDT for realisation of generator on SAW, and also external membrane connected via stem with metal screen located above piezoelectric plate surface. Hydrophone is characterised by the fact that distance h between metal screen that brings electric disturbances, and surface of piezoelectric plate less than wave length λ.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity and simplification of design.
