SUBSTANCE: invention is related to display coordinate-indicating devices, and in particular to optical coordinate-indicating devices. Display coordinate-indicating device (10) is suggested, including circuit (18) for finger print reading, which optically reads, for instance section of finger print or other skin texture, and circuit (20) for detection of finger print shift, which is operatively connected to circuit (18) of finger print reading, which functions to detect shift direction and speed of skin texture shift read by circuit (18) for reading of finger print, to generate indicating output data (24) for display device (12). Indicating outlet data (24) may be, for instance data that represent visual indication of position on screen of display device, like position of cursor or illuminated text, or any other suitable indication of position.
EFFECT: creation of coordinate-indicating display device for portable consumer devices.
