METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF ON-SITE ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION IN OPERATORS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2371083 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology. Systolic arterial pressure (SAP) rise is estimated with generating a stress by 3 minute test "mathematical counting". Said test is performed not earlier than 2 hours after smoking, food intake, physical activity, not earlier than 3-4 hours after taking a hypotensive preparation. And the test "mathematical counting" involves oral subtraction of a simple number 7 of three figures 624 with switching attention, considering tight time, attack of work. The test lasts for 3 minutes and follows measuring systolic arterial pressure (SAP) and diastolic arterial pressure, heart rate (HR) on each minute of stress and each minute recovery. SAP and HR rise is calculated by special formula. If a tested person shows the initial SAP more than 130 mm Hg, and responses to the stress test with SAP rise more than 7%, and with HR rise more than 10%, on-site arterial hypertension is predicted in such patient.

EFFECT: method allows detecting on-site arterial hypertension in operators with high level of occupational stress within screening assays.
