FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, and more specifically to a method of producing new 2,5-dialkyl(2,2,5,5-tetraalkyl)-3,4-fullero[60]tetrahydrofuranes of general formula (1), , where R=Me, R'=H; R=Pr, R'-H; R=R'= Me. The method involves reacting fullerene C60 with dialkyl (diisoalkyl) esters of general formula (RR'CH)2O, where R=Me, R'=H; R=Pr, R'=H, R=R'=Me in the presence of titanocene dichloride catalyst in molar ratio C60:ester:Cp2TiCl2=0.01:(5 to 15):(0.0015 to 0.0025) in a toluene medium at temperature 140 to 160°C for 5 to 7 hours. Output of the desired product is 47 to 70%.
EFFECT: obtaining compounds which can be used as complexing agents, sorbents, biologically active compounds, as well as production of new materials with given electronic, magnetic and optical properties.
