FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portable medical equipment for pediatrics, intended for functional diagnostics of cerebral hemo- and liquorodynamics state and can be applied in clinical practice for non-invasive painless and risk-free infection, quick and accurate measurement of intracranial pressure (ICP) in infants with application of short-term dynamic deformation of frontal fontanel in examination of ill children for presence of brain diseases, control of correctness of their treatment in stationary conditions and at home. Device for measuring intracranial pressure in newborns and infants contains body, support element with evening surface on butt end, movable bushing with coaxially fixed on it said support element, installed in body with possibility of limited alternating movement for creation of static loading on frontal fontanel, rod with flat base, installed in cavity of movable bushing with possibility to move along support element and create shock impact for frontal fontanel deformation, system ensuring rod movement, made with at least one measuring winding, connected with the unit of control, processing and indication, made with the possibility to convert signal from measuring winding for determining intracranial pressure and displaying obtained results. Support element is made in the form of bushing with evening surface on butt end and from external side has limiter of frontal fontanel deformation with static loading, its evening surface goes beyond contact surface of the said limiter, contact surface being made inclined to plane, tangent to evening surface, with increase of distance from it to the said plane towards periphery of limiter of frontal fontanel deformation with static loading.
EFFECT: increase of accuracy of ICP measurement on fontanels of various form, including concave, flat, convex, reduction of time for measuring procedure on the whole by several times, simplification and convenience of measuring procedure, as well as possibility to carry out ICP measurements in stationary conditions and by parents in their children on their own.
