FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP) in examination of the population for glaucoma, aimed at control of its treatment correctness, as well as individual control of intraocular pressure. Measurement of intraocular pressure is performed by tonometer of applanation type: Maklakov's or Goldman's, at atmospheric pressure from 740 to 760 mm Hg. At atmospheric pressure lower than 740 mm Hg and higher than 760 mm Hg measurement of intraocular pressure is performed by a device of other type, including tonometer TGDts-02 or TGDts-03 or indicator IGD-03.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy and reliability of IOP measurement, as well as carry out correct treatment by results of IOP measurement.
