FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention elates to receiving of steel in integrated steelmaking and to receiving of iron by means of direct melting in liquid bath. Method of steel receiving includes stage (a) -receiving of molten steel and molten steel-smelting dross, herewith steel-smelting dross includes particles of iron and particles of flux, and stage (b) - receiving of molten iron in bath of molten metal by method of direct melting, using considerable part of steel-smelting dross in the form of part of required initial material. Additionally stage (b) includes usage of enough amount of steel-smelting dross for providing of at least 50% by weight particles of flux of required initial material for method of direct melting. Method of direct melting includes pretreatment of iron initial material, including steel-smelting dross, and following melting of molten iron, using pretreated iron material, including steel-smelting dross, in the form of part of initial material.
EFFECT: invention provides for receiving of molten iron, used in processes of receiving of steel at considerable reduction of total amount of dross and dust, manufactured by plant, and considerable reduction, as a rule at least 30% by weight of flux amount, which is required from other sources.
