FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in animal erythrocytes determined are malondialdehide concentration (MDC), catalase activity in blood serum and superoxide dismutase (COD), simultaneously hemodynamics parameters are determined: abdominal aorta (AA), inferior vena cava (IVC) and renal artery (RA left, RA right), average bloodstream rate - M; resilient-elastic properties of vessels - PI; total peripheral vascular resistance - RI. If MDC values are 5.15±0.157 nmol/ml of erythrocyte mass and higher, COD values are 1.73±0.07 unit/mg and lower; catalase - 308.04 ±17.83 mkat/l and higher, as well as indices of hemodynamics in macrovessels: AA (M - 14.83±1.12 cm/s and higher, PI -2.01 ±0.24 cm/s and lower, RI - 0.89±0.02 c.u. and lower), IVC (M - 7.82±0.27 cm/s and lower, PI - 2.49±0.23 cm/sand higher, RI - 1.157±0.038 c.u. and higher), RA left (M - 6.19±0.62 cm/s and higher, PI - 3.83±0.37 cm/s and lower, RI - 1.12±0.034 c.u. and lower), RA right (M - 5.77±0.43 cm/s and higher, PI - 3.61 ±0.48 cm/s and lower, RI -1.09±0.031 c.u. and lower)and in microvessels: M - 1.068±10.103 cm/s and lower, PI -17.42±1.28 cm/s and higher, RI - 1.78±0.07 c.u. and higher respectively cadmium angiopathy is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to estimate pathogenetic mechanisms of toxic effect of heavy and nonferrous metals, in particular, cadmium, on formation of functional and pathomorphological changes of vessel wall.
