FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silencers killing aerodynamic noise of pneumatic engines. Proposed silencer comprises conical barrel made from porous material, inner cylindrical sleeve aligned with aforesaid barrel, inlet branch pipe representing a cover whereto inner cylindrical sleeve is rigidly attached to. Note that barrel has its bottom turned upwards and is threaded to aforesaid cover. Inner sleeve has openings with their openings perpendicular to sleeve axis. Silencer comprises cap aligned between the sleeve and barrel. Barrel bottom has threaded sleeve. Cap is furnished with threaded stud threaded in barrel bottom sleeve.
EFFECT: control of airflow through silencer.
