FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of silencing aerodynamic noise of pneumatic equipment and compressed gas or air release systems. Noise silencer comprises an inlet branch pipe and a rigidly coupled thereto housing made of a porous material, the housing comprises a base made in the form of a jar with a collar in its upper part, with which interact at least two elements from a porous material in the form of cylindrical the outer and the inner bushings, the upper bases of which are connected to a cover having a collar to fix the bushings and are rigidly connected with the base of the cylindrical jar by means of a threaded pin located coaxially with the jar, the bushings and the cover and having at the ends washers and nuts. Bushings are made on the basis of aluminium containing alloys with their subsequent filling with titanium hydride or air with the density within 0.5…0.9 kg/m3, or from a soft foamed porous noise-attenuating material, or from a hard porous noise-attenuating material.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise silencing.
