FIELD: apparatuses for suppressing sound of aerodynamic noise of pneumatic equipment and system for discharging compressed gas or air.
SUBSTANCE: noise silencer includes inlet branch pipe and housing of porous material rigidly joined with said branch pipe. Said housing includes base in the form of bushing in its upper portion engaging at least with two members of porous material. Said members are in the form of cylindrical inner and outer sleeves whose upper bases are joined with lid having shoulder for fixing sleeves and rigidly joined with base of cylindrical bushing by means of threaded stud arranged coaxially relative to bushing, sleeves and lid and having in its ends washers and nuts. Relation of height of the whole housing (A+C) to height B of sleeves of porous material is in range of optimal values (A+C)/B = 1.5 - 2.5 and relation of diameter of inner sleeve to diameter of outer sleeve of porous material is in range of optimal values 0.3 - 0.7. Relation of thickness value b of sleeves of porous material to their height B, namely b/B is in range of optimal values 0.05 -0.1.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise suppressing.
