FIELD: electrical engineering .
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two-stage superconducting (SC) current-limiter circuit breaker and method of its production, and can be used in cryoelectronics for automatic overcurrent protection. Current limiter represents parallel CS thick films separated by insulating film. Structure parameters are defined by relationship
where hC1, b1, (hC2, b2) are thickness and width of additional (primary) SC current limiter, hd is the thickness of insulating film, jkp1(jkp2) is critical current density of additional (primary) current limiter, Bkp2 is induction of the main current limiter critical field, k is the factor of first operation (k=0.6-0.9). Positive effect of proposed invention is ensured by applying current limiter thick film on substrate, the current limiter featuring higher firing temperature, firing aforesaid thick film in and, then insulating layer is applied. Now the film of second current limiter is applied to be fired in.
EFFECT: higher speed and reliability of breaking operating circuit, cutting in warning signal via connection of additional relay and current limier.
